Native speakers Bilingual » Native speakers

Being truly bilingual is not just about communicating in both languages – it also entails thinking and feeling in them. Because our faculty are generally native speakers, our students acquire these abilities. Faculty members use their mother tongue not only during lessons, but also in their daily lives. This gives students the chance to hear them express their thoughts, feelings, and natural reactions in a wide variety of situations – whether in the classroom or in the schoolyard, at lunch or social occasions, or on field trips.

Bilingual education calls for close collaboration between individual teachers – particularly at primary-school level, where most subjects are taught alternately by a German- and an English-speaking faculty member. When appointing teachers, we therefore focus on candidates who are genuine team players.
