SIS preschool will cater to children from the age of three. They will be supervised and taught by German- and English-speaking specialists or preschool teachers. Children will learn according to their age and development related abilities in a setting that alternates between structured learning and play times.

Our teaching program also incorporates the relevant curriculum for Bavaria, the so called "Bayerische Bildungs- und Erziehungsplan". Learning areas are for example "Communication, Language and Literacy," "Numeracy" or "Knowledge and Understanding of the World". Of course the personal, social and physical development of the children is stimulated according to their age.

Admission to SIS primary school is not dependent on the child's previous attendance of SIS preschool. It is clear, however, that children who attended SIS preschool are optimally prepared for the challenges of the bilingual primary school. The immersion approach is particularly effective for young children.

Entrance to SIS preschool usually occurs at the beginning of a school year in September.
