Alison Wright, Principal
Alison became principal of SIS Rotkreuz-Zug in 2016. Prior to joining the school she held management positions including headmistress, deputy head and director of studies, and greatly valued working closely alongside senior school colleagues as a part of a whole school management team. Alison’s earlier teaching experiences were in UK primary schools, with a brief spell in Münster.
Her qualifications include a master’s degree in effective learning from the University of London and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and undergraduate degree in geography and economics, both from Loughborough. She was born and grew up in rural England.
Alison believes it is important to instil the values of “safety, respect and facing challenge” in the students, knowing that these are three important aspects to develop in successful adults of the future. Her main priority is to nurture the skills and talents of her students in a vibrant, engaging and supportive environment.
