The students needed to dress up in togas and make their own olive leaf wreaths (customarily awarded to the winner of the Olympic Games).
On Wednesday, 30 June, the day had finally arrived. The students took part in the pentathlon (running, long jump, discus, javelin and wrestling) in addition to boxing, pankration and chariot racing.
Of course, we needed to make some adjustments to the nature of the sporting events for safety reasons.
The weather was perfect and grade 2 appreciated the support they received from their parents and the grade 1 students.
