Given the worldwide spread of Covid-19, we are forced to cancel the SIS Cup 2020. The fifth edition of the SIS Cup would have taken place on 18 and 19 May 2020 at SIS Pfäffikon-Schwyz in Switzerland. We are especially sorry for all students and teachers who have already prepared with anticipation and thank everyone involved for helping with the preparations that have been made. We hope that the situation eases soon and we are already looking forward to the SIS Cup 2021.
The Federal Council bans attendance lessons at all schools throughout the country. Therefore, our eight schools in Switzerland will be closed on Monday, 16 March until at least 19 April. Therefore, all planned open days of the SIS schools will not take place. We want to continue to take all necessary measures to stop the spread. Further information will follow in due course.
Due to schools closing in Switzerland, our students have to stay at home in these extraordinary times. Read more about how our teachers and students are adapting to the new situation and how lessons are being continued digitally.
SIS Swiss International School closely monitors the reports regarding the Coronavirus (Covid-19) of the competent authorities in Switzerland.
