A couple of weeks ago we celebrated our 100th day of school. Third and fourth grade students facilitated different activities in the afternoon:
100 meter dash, 100 seconds of wall-sits, 100 jumping jacks, 100 seconds of mannequin freezing, 100 thumbprints, 100 shapes made of salt dough, 100 books we've read, and how-to say 100 in different languages.
When students had completed the tasks, and we accomplished our goal of 100, everyone gathered together in the lunchroom for 100 cupcakes with 100 candles!
The day came to an end with a short story, 100th Day Project, and each student left having heard something special about themselves that others recognized in them.
