In January, we held our yearly writing competition. This year, our guest judge was author and illustrator Tom Reed. Tom has written many books, most of which we have in our library. Because of his artistic background, the writing competition consisted of both a story and an illustration. As usual, the writing was to be done in class over the course of a week. At the end of that week, the texts were then sent to Tom for choosing the winners.
On February 23rd, Tom joined us in a video assembly to announce the winners. After reading and telling about writing children's books, he announced the 12 winners. Each winner received a prize and certificate. When it is possible, the winners will participate in a workshop with Tom.
