Welcome Back to School

To start the new school year off, buddy classes joined together for a special art project. Our buddy classes (for example, primary 3 is the buddy class to kindergarten 1) meet regularly throughout the year to get to know and support eachother. This year's back to school kick-off was creating large paintings with handprints of all students in each buddy class. Buddy classes chose a theme written in the center of the painting, which will serve as a reminder to the whole school of our values. The chosen themes are, "We help eachother, " "Helping hands, " "We are respectful, " and "Teamwork makes the dreamwork." It was lovely to see the excitement of students as they reunited with old friends and begin making new friends. We wish everyone a positive and fun start to the new year!
