SIS Zürich is located in the Zwicky area of Wallisellen, the site of a former thread factory. Located southeast of the Glattzentrum, the school is directly accessible by tram line 12, with its stop Wallisellen-Neugut right in front of the school building. Our school is accessible by public transportation in twenty minutes from Zürich main station and in just under thirty minutes from the train station in Winterthur.
The surrounding area is being developed into a new and lively urban neighbourhood. Apartment and office buildings are being built next door to the school. The most aesthetic of the industrial heritage buildings as well as the surrounding natural environment of brooks and forests will be preserved; attractive recreational areas and open spaces are thus created, which will also be at the school’s disposal.
SIS Zürich is home to a complete school infrastructure. More specifically, this includes:
- spacious classrooms
- a variety of special subject rooms (music, arts, crafts and woodwork facilities; media library; science lab)
- a cafeteria
- a gym with equipment facilities and locker rooms
- outdoor facilities: multipurpose sports ground, cafeteria lounging area, playground for the younger students
- a landscaped roof terrace and a recreational area for older students
At our day school, students are supervised from 7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. The exact teaching and supervision hours vary between the different levels.
Our office hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Due to the current situation, our school will remain closed from 16 March 2020 until 19 April 2020. During this time, our school office team is available for you as usual. You may reach us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at +41 44 388 99 44.
