SIS is a place of learning, in a holistic way. We care about the development of emotional and social skills as much as the acquisition of knowledge. As a day school, we are committed to doing everything we can to support children as they grow up and to provide a valuable complement to their family life. This includes lunchtime meal offers, our school bus service, before- and after-school care, and homework supervision as well as exciting activities, even during school holidays.
Before- and After-School Care
Before- and after-school care is available to children in kindergarten and primary school. Children can arrive at school from 7 a.m. onwards and use the time until school starts at 8:30 a.m. to play with their friends or prepare for the day’s lessons. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., students can choose from a range of leisure activities or clubs, or they can go outside for some fresh air and enjoy themselves. Children are supervised by a member of staff at all times.
Care from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. is not included in the school fees and can be found on our price list.
Lunch
All students have the option of signing up for a hot lunch – a communal meal enjoyed in the school cafeteria. Children who bring their own lunch from home also eat together with their class in the cafeteria. All children are supervised during lunch time. Between lunch and the start of afternoon classes, there is time for the children to have fun and play.
The operator of the cafeteria is the ZFV catering group, who put together a lunch menu that offers children a healthy, balanced meal. The registration must be made separately via the ZFV registration platform.
Lunch can be ordered on a daily basis. Costs are not included in the school fees.
Clubs
We offer our students of all ages a range of extracurricular activities and clubs, allowing them to develop skills that complement their school work or offer a welcome change from the regular academic programme. Our clubs offer many different activities and can be booked for one semester.
The costs of these clubs are not included in the school fees. Please contact our school office for more detailed information.
Holiday Club
Holidays are the best time of the year – so what better way to spend them than with your friends at school? We offer a holiday club during the school breaks with the opportunity to attend an exciting week-long holiday club packed with sports and fun and games, including trips, under the supervision of an experienced team.
The cost of the holiday club is not included in the school fees. Please contact our school office for more detailed information.

Spaces that Invite Learning and Activities that Endorse Our Culture of Learning
We are convinced that the place where students learn has a decisive influence on how they learn. We therefore place great importance on an open school space that provides a welcoming atmosphere to students, staff, parents and guests alike, thus creating a pleasant overall environment. We cultivate multiple signature school events and regularly participate in activities that involve all SIS schools around the globe.
