Watching our son thrive at SIS

“When it came time to choose a school in Switzerland for our son, given the options we had, it was pretty easy to pick SIS Swiss International School. We wanted him to learn German in an immersive way while also learning English. From the very first day, we noticed a huge change in his development, not only in languages but in his curiosity and his general understanding of the world. In retrospect, we would've wanted him to start earlier. 

Over these seven years, SIS has proven to be a really wonderful place for our son to expand his knowledge and challenge himself along the way. The majority of his teachers are truly dedicated professionals and have been extremely engaged with him and all his classmates from the get-go. Whenever we met, it was so nice to hear how well they came to know our son, both academically and socially. 

Although the school is still relatively small, the friendships our son has established over all these years seem to me to be very deep and special, and I consider that regardless of where they go next, they will still remain connected. Additionally, as parents, we were delighted to share this time with other parents, and have become a really great group to work with in and outside of the school. 

We came to SIS because of their truly immersive bilingual program, but we have stayed and enjoyed every year because of the amazing faculty and the great welcoming international community.”
