Forest Mornings

Creating STEAM in the forest

In Kindergarten, we encourage the children to develop their social, creative, and analytical abilities through play-based learning. Spending a day in the forest once a fortnight is a wonderful way to further incorporate the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) subjects in a practical, fun and hands on way.

The success of integrating these activities can be seen in the children's growing self-confidence and excitement in trying new activities and experiments. Among the many activities the the students enjoying exploring in the forest, carrying trees together, making bridges, making a fire, and eating alphabet noodle soup.
