Grade 6 students selected a destination in North America, conducted independent research, and presented their findings as if they were travel hosts. From the towering peaks of the Canadian Rockies to the bustling streets of New York City, our students took us on engaging journeys across the continent. They explored key aspects of their chosen locations, including geography, history, culture, and attractions, all while answering the essential question: What makes this place unique? Through well-structured presentations, creative visuals, and even some interactive elements, students demonstrated not only their knowledge but also their enthusiasm for exploration. Many incorporated props, maps, and digital slideshows, while others added personal touches such as traditional music or fun travel tips. This project was a wonderful opportunity for students to develop essential skills in research, critical thinking, and public speaking. It was inspiring to see their confidence grow as they shared their findings with their classmates. Grade 6 did a excellent job! ! They all work really hard on the creativity and student led presentations. We all learned alot of interesting places to vist.
