The bilingual day school operations of SIS Pfäffikon-Schwyz takes place in a campus built to our standards. The modern, well-equipped school building provides an ideal environment for around 400 children and adolescents from preschool to secondary school to live and learn together in German and English.
In addition to spacious classrooms, the campus also includes a media library, music, art and hand work rooms, a science education laboratory, a cafeteria and a gymnasium.
Our curriculum is based on the Swiss Curriculum 21 and takes into account relevant contents of British curricula. From the third primary class, we conduct regular national and international comparative examinations in order to derive the next steps and goals for the continuous improvement and assurance of the quality of instruction.
With class sizes that support intensive support of the students, we can support the children and adolescents according to their level of learning. It is important to get them excited about the lessons and learning content and to make them aware of the lesson goals.
Project work and explorative learning should facilitate the transfer to the outside world. In addition to a positive attitude, we practice social behavior and uphold values such as honesty, respect, and responsibility.
We consider cooperation with the parents to be central to the success of learning in every respect. Therefore, as principal, a close and appreciative cooperation between teachers and parents is very important to me.
I look forward to getting to know you in a personal conversation and to personally show you the stimulating, pleasant learning environment of SIS Pfäffikon-Schwyz.
