Special Discipline 2024

Run-Throw-Biathlon

In addition to the sports that remain the same every year, such as floorball, table tennis and long jump, there is one discipline that changes every year. This year, the teams will compete against each other in the run-throw-biathlon.

In the run-and-throw biathlon, each team provides a runner. Four of them run together anti-clockwise around an outer circle of around 50 metres to a throwing station. There they throw a sandbag at a small, upturned box. If they hit the target, the runners continue their run until they reach the throwing station again. If the target is not hit, a penalty lap around a smaller, inner circle of around 30 metres must be completed before the run around the outer circle can be resumed. The run-throw-biathlon is finished when the competitor passes the start/finish line again after ten throwing attempts. The fastest competitor wins.

Have fun practising and preparing for the competition!
